Bouwers Design Landscaping Inc. is a hardscape contractor in North Bay, Ontario. This policy explains how bouwersdesignlandscaping.ca handles the information you submit through the quote form, the contact page, or any other touchpoint on this website. The short version: the quote form collects your name, phone, email, city, project type, and a short project description. That data is delivered to Dylan by email through Netlify Forms. It is not sold, traded, shared with marketing companies, added to a mailing list, or used to retarget you with ads. Bouwers does not run analytics, does not place tracking pixels, and does not maintain a customer database beyond the active project files needed to honour the five-year workmanship warranty. The site is compliant with PIPEDA, the Canadian federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. Effective date: May 25, 2026.

Short, plain, and honest. No dark patterns, no buried clauses.
Only the information you choose to submit. No background data scraping, no third-party data brokers, no implicit profiling.
Quote form data. The quote form on the contact page collects six fields: name, phone number, email address, city, project type, and a short description of your project. All six are submitted by you. None are inferred or augmented from external sources.
Server logs. Netlify, the hosting provider for bouwersdesignlandscaping.ca, automatically records standard web server logs for each page request: IP address, browser type, referring page, and timestamp. These logs are retained by Netlify for operational and security purposes and are not accessible to Bouwers as identifiable personal data. What we do not collect. No analytics scripts run on this site. There is no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no Hotjar, no advertising retargeting tag. No cookies are set by Bouwers code on bouwersdesignlandscaping.ca. The site does not ask for, log, or store any payment information. Address, demographic data, and household information are not collected.
The data you submit is used to respond to your inquiry, schedule the on-site visit, write the quote, and run the project. That is the entire scope.
Quote form submissions are read by Dylan Bouwers, owner of Bouwers Design Landscaping Inc., directly through Netlify Forms email notifications. Dylan reaches out by phone, text, or email (whichever you indicated as your preferred contact) to confirm the inquiry, ask any clarifying questions, and schedule the on-site visit. If the project moves to a written quote, the same contact information is used to deliver the quote and coordinate the build through to walkthrough.
For completed projects, the contact information and project details are kept in the project file alongside the warranty documentation. This is so future warranty claims can be matched to the original install in writing. See the warranty page for how warranty claims work.
Your information is not used for marketing emails, newsletters, retargeting ads, lookalike audiences, or any form of automated outreach. Bouwers does not operate a marketing automation platform.

Netlify hosts bouwersdesignlandscaping.ca and processes quote form submissions. Netlify is a US-based hosting provider. Your form data passes through Netlify's infrastructure before being delivered to Dylan's email. See Netlify's privacy policy.
Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on this site (Fraunces, Geist, JetBrains Mono, Yellowtail, Instrument Serif). When your browser loads a page, it requests font files from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, which means your IP address is briefly visible to Google. See Google's privacy policy.
Google Maps renders the embedded map on the contact page showing the Bouwers Design Landscaping service area. When the contact page loads, Google receives a request from your browser including your IP address. See Google's privacy policy.
That is the complete list. No other third-party scripts, pixels, trackers, or services run on bouwersdesignlandscaping.ca.
You have a right under PIPEDA to know what Bouwers holds about you, to correct it, and to request its deletion.
Active inquiries. Quote form data is retained in the Netlify Forms inbox for as long as the inquiry remains relevant, typically twelve to twenty-four months. If you submit a quote request and do not proceed, the inquiry is archived after roughly two years.
Completed projects. Project files for installs that Bouwers actually built are kept indefinitely so that the five-year workmanship warranty can be referenced and honoured. After the warranty period expires, project records are kept for an additional two years as a courtesy reference, then archived.
Your rights. Under PIPEDA, you have the right to:
Send a written request to admin@bdesignlandscaping.com with the subject "Privacy Request: Access". Bouwers will provide a copy of any personal data on file within thirty days.
Email admin@bdesignlandscaping.com with the subject "Privacy Request: Correction" and indicate what needs to change. Bouwers will update the record within thirty days and confirm in writing.
Email admin@bdesignlandscaping.com with the subject "Privacy Request: Deletion". Bouwers will delete the data within thirty days. Note: if your data is part of an active warranty claim or unfinished project, the deletion will be scheduled for project completion plus thirty days.
If you are not satisfied with how Bouwers Design Landscaping handles your privacy request, you may file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
This policy is short and is expected to stay short. Updates will be dated.
If Bouwers Design Landscaping makes a material change to how data is collected, used, or shared, this page will be updated and the effective date at the top of the page will reflect the change. Bouwers does not maintain a mailing list, so notification of changes is published on this page rather than emailed out. The current effective date is May 25, 2026.
